After a banning period of almost two years on the importation of pig genetics, the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has reached an agreement with the Dutch Department of Veterinary Service to comply with the veterinary health requirements.
Topigs Norsvin SA was once again quick to react to the opportunity and this import will boost the genetic progress of the company dramatically.
