Since June 2016, Topigs Norsvin SA have imported three shipments of frozen semen, including semen for all dam and sire lines.
Boars and gilts born out of frozen semen inseminations have already been selected as replacements into the sow herd and genetic centre.
Freezing sessions planned for the remainder of 2017 are already in progress.
